Liberatii has achieved ISO/IEC 27001 certification, the international standard for information security management systems.
The certification covers Design, Development, Deployment, Support, and Maintenance of the Liberatii Data Virtualisation Platform. It was issued by LMS Assessments Limited under certificate number GB26071401 on 14th of July 2026.
Why this matters for our customers
Liberatii sits in the data path. When an enterprise routes its application traffic through our platform, they're placing trust in how we build, deploy and operate that software — not just in whether it translates SQL correctly.
ISO 27001 is how that trust gets independently verified. Rather than certifying a single product feature, the standard assesses the whole management system behind it: how we assess risk, how we control access, how we handle incidents, how we vet our own suppliers, and how we keep improving all of it.
For the regulated industries we work in most — financial services, government, healthcare — this has moved from a differentiator to a baseline expectation. Procurement teams ask for it early, and rightly so.
What was assessed
Our certification scope covers the full lifecycle of the platform, from design and development through deployment, support and ongoing maintenance. The assessment examined our risk management approach, our infrastructure and access controls, our incident handling, and our vendor management processes.
What's next
Certification is a starting point, not a finish line. ISO 27001 requires ongoing surveillance audits and continual improvement of the management system, and we're already planning the next stage of our security programme.
If security and compliance requirements are part of your database migration decision, we'd be glad to talk them through with you.
